The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Hotel Administration programme is offered by the National Council and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The Three – Year Programme equips trainees with the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the hospitality sector. The Bachelor of Science programme comprise in-depth laboratory work for students to acquire the required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping along with Industrial Exposure to solidify the base of applicability of it. Substantial managerial inputs are also imparted in subject such as Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development and other related subjects for overall understanding of Hospitality Industry.

This is a 1.5 year diploma program in Food Production, which includes 24 weeks industrial training in production department only, along with regular academic inputs for the rest of the duration. Learners will be exposed to the required international standard by inculcating required set of knowledge skill and mindset which assists them both in professional and personal front. It teaches many ‘tricks of the trade’ and will fuel a desire in students to take up kitchen operations as an exciting career. The module focuses on introduction to culinary arts with emphasis on basics of Indian & International Cuisines, essential commodities, culinary techniques, equipment and processes.

This course is an entry level program wherein the various aspects of bakery and pastry are introduced with extensive hands-on training. The focus will be on intricate science of baking as well as the creative aspect of making various baked products. Students are also able to master this skill by learning simple techniques which opens another avenue of becoming a successful entrepreneur. This is a 1.5 year diploma program in Bakery & Confectionary, which includes 24 weeks industrial training in bakery section only, along with regular academic inputs for the rest of the duration. The program has been specifically designed to meet industry demands for entry level.

The diploma course in food and beverage is aimed at providing basic F&B knowledge to the students, and in addition to equip the students with skill sets to enable a entry level job in the F&B sector. The aim of the Food & Beverage Operations module is to provide students with an understanding of the operational & supervisory aspects of running a food & beverage operation or an international clientele in a range of establishments. This 1.5 year diploma program also includes 24 weeks industrial training in service only, along with regular academic inputs for the rest of the duration. Students will gain an understanding of food & beverage & its service in a variety of styles of restaurant & establishments & they will have sufficient knowledge to produce a broad plan for specified food & beverage operations.
